Guardforce Celebrates 30 years of Trusted Protection

Hong Kong, May 2007 - Guardforce Limited is celebrating 30 years providing security personnel and security transport services to Hong Kong and Macau.

To launch a year of celebrations a banquet was held on 24 March 2007 at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre. Current employees from Guardforce and its sister company Chubb, as well as many former employees came together for a night of entertainment and to travel back over the last 30 years in the company’s history.

In his welcome speech, Mark Brisson, managing director of Chubb & Guardforce Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan said that it was the dedication of all employees that had made the company so successful and reiterated that successful progress requires teamwork, communication and commitment.

One of the highlights of the evening was a catwalk show to demonstrate the evolution of the Guardforce uniform. The audience was invited to guess the year each uniform was introduced.

The latest Guardforce uniform, introduced in 2007, builds on the traditional green uniform that has become so identifiable and includes a link to UTC Fire & Security, the parent company of Guardforce.
