Guardforce to Serve Hong Kong’s Dairy Farm Retail Network

With a total contract value of over $10 million, Guardforce will provide electronic safes, cash-in-transit and guarding services to nearly 1,500 retail locations.  Brands in the Dairy Farm portfolio include Wellcome, Mannings, 7-Eleven and IKEA outlets.

The Dairy Farm project will also be one of the first to utilize Guardforce’s new IT-enabled cash-processing systems, which will be implemented in the fourth quarter this year. Cash-in-transit Guards will be equipped with handheld terminals to record collection details and print electronic receipts in the field. Guardforce’s Note Processing Centers will also be equipped with note-counting machines and software to further automate cash processing.  The new data and processing systems will improve record accuracy and will allow better data analysis.   

Dairy Farm is a $7.7 billion retailer, with around 4,700 outlets stretching across the Asian continent. Its retail sectors include health and beauty stores, convenience stores, home furnishings stores and restaurants.
