The course, taught by certified trainers and examiners, is listed as a SGSIA Recognized Training Course (Quality Assurance System Compliance Level 1) course list and endorsed by Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualifications (Qualifications Framework). The 2-day course is conducted according to the pre-set schedule, except public holidays.
The course is open to any person who intends to join the security industry. Upon completion of the course and passing the examination, participants will be issued a Certificate in Basic Guarding Services under QASRS (Level 1).
