Professionally recognised QASRS security guard certification courses

Guardforce Hong Kong operates a professionally recognised security guard training scheme that confers basic certification for security guard qualifications  (Quality Assurance System Compliance Level 1) at the end of the training.

What are QASRS Training Courses？

All those who intend to work as a security guard must undertake a Quality Assurance System for Recognition Scheme of Security Training Courses (QASRS). Upon completion of the course, participants will be issued a certificate required for security guard employment

What is the course content of QASRS Training Courses？

The courses focus on the roles and duties of a security guard. The courses will also cover professional ethics, uniforms and equipment, legal liabilities and relevant legislation, occupational safety and etiquettes.

Who should take QASRS Training Courses？

• We welcome anyone aged above 18 who are interested in pursuing a career in security to apply for the training courses.
• Students must be capable to read and write in Chinese

Our Quality Assurance System for Recognition Scheme of Security Training Course (QASRS) is recognised by the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA) and endorsed by the Security Services Training Board (SSTB) of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) in Hong Kong.

It meets the criterion of “Proficiency in Security Work” to apply a Security Personnel Permit (SPP).
